Introducing Convey!

Greetings!

We are excited to announce our use of Convey®, a global disclosure collection system! In October Orthopaedic Trauma Association will implement Convey to collect all conflict-of-interest disclosures.

What is Convey?
Convey, a global disclosure system developed by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), will help us centralize and streamline the data collection and review process for our organization’s disclosure needs.  The Convey system is used by many other organizations like AAOS, AOFAS, and others. Since this system is global, there is no need for multiple logins or repeated submissions, all your information will be tracked within this one system across multiple organizations like OTA.

How does Convey work?
Convey allows disclosers to:

  • Review an organization’s disclosure policy and instructions.
  • Enter and store your financial relationships and interests.
  • Answer disclosure specific questions asked by your organization.
  • Use pre-entered relationships and interest information within Convey to submit another disclosure to other Convey subscribing organizations.

When can I use Convey?
We will be transitioning to the Convey system in the coming weeks. You can expect to receive more information on how to create your personal AAMC Convey account. Please monitor your email for these important instructions.

We greatly appreciate the support of our leadership team in recognizing the need for this easy-to-use, harmonious system, and we hope that all will enthusiastically join us in welcoming Convey to our organization!

Sincerely,
Orthopaedic Trauma Association
